10 Questions – 10 Answers

Where would you like to wake up tomorrow morning?

In Paris or Rome.

Can you name a book, a movie, a piece or a song, which you think is about you?

Jeez. Zounds of it. Mostly music. I started to write down a few pieces here, but then another one came into my mind, and another one, so I decided not to write any. This is actually very characteristic for me in other fields of life too.

What would you do, if you wouldn’t be doing what you do now?

Good question. I love my current job. I would be a sound engineer or a light technician, or I would tinker around in a carpenter’s workshop, but then I would surely miss the people.

What year would you type into a time machine, and why?

Any year, in which I can still meet my father.

What is your greatest fear?

Ending up alone.

Do you have any superstitions or rituals before entering the stage?

I rather call myself a ‘chamber musician’, since I don’t usually perform on stage, but I am planning to do it, so I will probably have a few.

Which historical figure or fictive personality would you like to share a cup of coffee/tea or a glass of wine with?

Dream from The Sandman comic books or Crawley from Good Omens.

What is your oldest piece of clothing?

A winter coat I don’t really wear anymore (ca. from 2000), and according to a friend of mine, I look like a Romanian bar pianist in it, whatever that means.

Is there one fact about you, which would surprise others if they would know it?

There are things I don’t want to surprise others with.

How do you see yourself in ten years?

With even less hair.

(January 2015.)
