This performance with this strange title, is a visual composition meticulously concerned in its own aesthetic quality, just like an over-accurate housewife so for her table setting. “The laid table” is the centre of our everyday life, a place surrounded by constant and momentary situations, where we confronte and make decisions, good one’s or less.

Each of the dancers through the solos, is trying to show a different aspect of the inner process we have after these happenings, tending to be purified of these happenings, to acheive a total independency and freedom.

 „colorful cracks of emotions,

infinite travels,

unknown repetitive known

and empty settling”

Every second of a darkness closes and opens a new story. After each blink everything has changed, nothing is steady or constant. There is a tension builds between holding a concrete substance and the vaporizing, dissapearing being…

You can all stay home, for all I care. I don’t want to be nice. I’ve got nothing in my hands, not even kind words, to lure you to this place. All I’ve got is this great yearning in my heart to get rid of all this junk, all the building blocks of my deliberately sheltered existence. We hoard our junk-heap within us, carrying it about with mounting weariness, fumbling miserably among the wreckage of our lives.

“Mi-Nous” is an intimate piece for two dancers. It is a duet about the complexity of human relationships, Him and Her, about the divergence between their love  and the influence of their defferent surrroundings.  Although physically apart, they are trying to create closeness by using the pieces of the time they had spend together. Letters, messages, memories become the refuge of love. “Mi-Nous” doesn’t tell a story,  it shows in fragments scenes from the life of a couple.  Every love story is unique and at the same time similar to many others, so that everyone can draw a parallel with his or hers own story. For that reason the piece is both very intimate and universal.

“Mi” means “We” in Croatian, and “minou” (a kitten) is a tender word exchanged by lovers in Croatia...

music remixed by 'Mustbeat' DJ Sabda

" When I saw Fellini's La Strada, I felt deeper pain about Gelsomine's carrier as the pain in my veteran dancer body. And how great this role would be interpreted by Mimi?! And I could be a great Zampano, if I would be able to lose some weight? And Akos looks like "Il Matto", the clown, originally created by Richard Basehart on the screen, just see this childish smile on his face! No need to explain: the casting was ready in a half minute."
